GleitTherm® high performance materials consist of organic fibres, special resins as well as sliding additives, all pressed together inordinately. Because of that homogenic structure, GleitTherm can be loaded from every direction, up to a steady operating temperature of 600°C. GleitTherm materials are used in applications where, besides dimensional stability and high temperature resitance, a low sliding friction coefficient is needed, together with a high wear-resistance under dry running/high load conditions. -> technical data
