The material series K-Therm® is divided into several application ranges. We offer you K-Therm® AS, K-Therm® AS M, K-Therm® AS flex and K-Therm® CS.
K-Therm® AS are compressed fibre cements with glass fibre reinforcement. They can be employed as abrasion-proof components at temperatures up to 700°C. An above-average strength is achieved by a homogeneous compression. Even filigree components can be provided.
K-Therm® AS M is produced from silicone-impregnated mica paper compressed under high temperatures and high pressure. Based on muscovite or phlogopite, these materials feature a very high mechanical strength, good temperature insulation characteristics and a superb electric strength. This material series of micanite is appropriate for highly-stressable machine parts used at temperatures up to 800°C.

K-Therm® AS flex are mica-papers that can be cold formed. Furthermore they can be punched or cut. As a specialty we have qualities fitted with single-sided ceramics fleece coating.
The series K-Therm® CS comprises "engineering ceramics", based on calcium silicate. These materials are refractory, of course, and are highly temperature-resistant with a low shrinkage behaviour.
